At the top of the mountain, surrounded by tall trees, I approach the rocks of the Heiau. As I enter the sacred site something catches my eye. On top of the rocks, what is it? Perhaps a witness or better yet a watcher.
This little square in the center of the city is responsible for so many memories. It was the location of the return of the Hawaiian Kingdom. It was also where I played in the Banyan tree and it was close to where I took my first art classes.
